What a wonderful day for the Heits family. Ivie was baptized today and they also did a remembrance of Madelynn's baptism. Ivie did so well and I love the words in the baptism ceremony. There is something to be said about the message that we are all one family in Christ. It makes me feel like Brian and I are not parenting alone. We have an entire congregation and family that supports our daughters and will be watching and supporting as they grow in their faith and learn what it is to be a christian. Madelynn also stood in front of the congregation proudly and answered quietly to Dave our preacher and picked a remembrance stone out of the bowl.
