A Wonderful Birthday weekend

Miss Madelynn and I have been under the weather this week but are feeling better and we had a wonderful weekend filled with Birthday Celebrations. On Wednesday Madelynn turned 1 and she enjoyed a cookie cake with her friends at school and then we had an evening of fun at Red Robin with Aunt Jessi, Uncle Kelly, and Cousin Danica. On Friday We stayed home sick and went to the Doctor but on Saturday we were feeling better and we had family and friends over for a wonderful birthday celebration. It has been cold and snowed here this week but because of our colds we didn't really spend much time out in the snow!

Updates

Hey all - I thought I would try out this blogging sight. J and K have seemed to have great luck with it and I thought it might be an easier way for me to keep up with my updates. Madelynn has been sick for the last several days but seems to be doing a bit better. She has a big birthday coming up on Wednesday and we took her one year photos last night. I think we really got some good shots. Sally from Stella Studios is great and came to visit us in KC to take them and I am looking forward to seeing them. Brian also finished our Christmas decorations yesterday! We have a busy week ahead. Madelynn's birthday on Wednesday, my birthday on Friday, a Holiday party for work and Madelynn's Birthday celebration on Saturday. We are also excited about the possibility of a little snow in KC this week!
